Celebrating the life of Cherryl Jackson February 15, 1955 – May 18, 2024 Cherryl Jackson was born February 15, 1955 in Chicago, IL to the union of Aola Langston and Jo Lewis Langston. She was the oldest child (Jeffrey Langston). She received her education from O.W. Holmes Grammar School and graduated from Tilden High School. She confessed to Christ at an early age and attended Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. E.J. Hatch and Pastor Ferdinand W. Hargrett. If you knew her you loved her. Even in her weakest times she was concerned about family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and always cracked jokes. Cherryl was called home to paradise on May 18 after being a true fighter. She follows into Paradise her parents Jo Langston and Aola Williams, her daughter Tonya L. Jackson and a host of loving family members. Cherryl was a loving wife to Oscar Sr., loving mom to Oscar Jr.(Tonya) and Kenya M. Jackson, six grandchildren Clark, Destine’, Isaiah, Oscar III, Kobe, Jo’siah, great grandchildren Zuri and Lazerick Johnson, brother Jeffrey Langston Sr., Auntie (Head of the family) Agnes Freeman nicknamed BN, Aunt Beatrice Street (Te Tee) of Philadelphia, MS, Floyd Freeman Uncle (Main) of Atlanta, Extended family Callie Anderson, good friend Josie Williams and family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and sister in law Larna Beck.
